Dr Dagmara Strumińska-Parulska, Professor at the University of Gdańsk, is a researcher and lecturer at the Faculty of Chemistry of the University of Gdańsk. She obtained her PhD in 2003 and her postdoctoral degree in 2014. Her research interests include environmental radiochemistry, radiochemical analysis, radioecology and radiation protection. She conducts research related to the analysis of anthropogenic isotopes in the natural environment, mainly plutonium and americium radionuclides in the Baltic Sea environment, as well as the determination of natural and artificial radionuclides in food products and the assessment of the radiological effects of their intake with food. Her scientific output includes 72 articles in the JCR database (1,386 citations, h-index 24). She has participated in national and international grants, both as a manager and as a researcher.
