Igrzyska Wolności is the leading festival of ideas in Central and Eastern Europe and the only event of its kind in Poland open to the general public. The event brings together people committed to promoting democratic values and a vision of a world based on freedom, economic rationality, culture and mutual understanding.

Debates, author’s meetings, lectures, workshops, concerts and artistic activities bring together representatives and representatives of the world of culture, science, business and public life from Poland and abroad. The Liberte Foundation is the organizer of the event, and the strategic partners of the Freedom Games are the City of Lodz and the Lodz Event Center.

Among the guests at this year’s event will be: Jerzy Owsiak (founder and CEO of the Great Orchestra of Christmas Charity Foundation), Aleksander Kwasniewski (former President of the Third Republic of Poland), Radosław Sikorski (Deputy Prime Minister, Minister of Foreign Affairs), Andrzej Domański (Minister of Finance and Economy).

The panel “Violence against women”, which will be moderated by Ola Rymaszewska, will include: Katarzyna Kotula (Minister of Equality), Paulina Reiter (editor of Wysoki Obsas) and Joanna Gzyra-Iskandar (Feminoteka Foundation), and Dr. Barbara Kijewska, prof. UG (Center for Sustainable Development, University of Gdansk).
