On December 1, 2025, CZRUG hosted a workshop entitled “Endometriosis: Facts and Myths” led by Dr. Elżbieta Czapka, coordinator of the “Quality of Life and Health” program at the Center for Sustainable Development. The workshop was attended by people from various departments of the University of Gdańsk.
During the workshop, we discussed the symptoms, diagnosis, and treatment of endometriosis. We also addressed issues related to the impact of endometriosis on the social functioning of affected women, including interpersonal relationships and professional and academic life. In addition, we tried to find effective strategies for coping with the disease, taking into account the available social support. We would like to thank all participants for taking part in the workshop.
