On April 20, 2026, Dr. Rafał Raczyński, Coordinator of the CZRUG Migration Observatory, together with Prof. Anna Mazurkiewicz participated in an online seminar organized by the Observatory of Migration and Human Rights as part of the SEA-EU 2.0 project.
Together, they presented the Migration Observatory and delivered a lecture titled “Reframing Contemporary War Refugees in Poland through Historical Lenses.”
The session offered a broad historical reflection on war refugees in Poland, situating contemporary displacement processes within a long-term perspective spanning from the 18th century to the present day.
