Outdoor education provides an opportunity to gain knowledge through hands-on activities, collaboration, and the exchange of experiences in an international setting. We began this week with a visit to our office by students from Belgium, the Netherlands, and Sweden, who, at the invitation of Dr. Paweł Śpica, Vice Dean for Education at the Faculty of Social Sciences at the University of Gdańsk, participated in the BIP program titled “Outdoor education in an intercultural perspective.”

One of the program’s elements was a field game on the University of Gdańsk campus. Thanks to this, participants had the opportunity to get to know the university better, locate individual faculties and units, and take part in micro-workshops.

One of the stops during the game was the Center for Sustainable Development. The group of students was greeted by Center staff and Dr. Elżbieta Czapka, coordinator of the “Quality of Life and Health” program at CZRUG, who presented our unit’s activities and conducted a micro-workshop. Among other things, the students were tasked with answering the question:

 „Bright ideas and global goals

Big ambitions future roles.

Choose one mission, Make your case –

Which Sustainable Development Goal

Deserves first place?”

The program’s activities will take place from May 18 to May 22.
