Key Organizational Information

Conference venue – 24–25 September

The conference sessions will take place at the Faculty of Social Sciences, University of Gdańsk, 3 Marii Janion Street, Gdańsk.

On Thursday, 24 September, registration will begin at 8:30 a.m. in the lobby of the Faculty of Social Sciences. The official opening of the conference will take place at 9:30 a.m., followed by the plenary session at 10:00 a.m. Simultaneous interpreting will be provided during the plenary session.

Internet access

The Eduroam network is available across the University of Gdańsk campus. For participants who are unable to use Eduroam, we will provide individual Wi-Fi login details, which can be collected at the conference registration desk.

Access by car

The University of Gdańsk campus can be accessed by car through the main entrance gate next to the Rector’s Office, at 7 Prof. Marii Janion Street, 80-309 Gdańsk.

Coffee breaks and lunches

Coffee breaks and lunches will be served in the lobby of the Faculty of Social Sciences (Level -1). Lunch will be served from 1:30 to 2:30 p.m. on Thursday and from 12:30 to 1:30 p.m. on Friday.

Conference banquet

The conference banquet will take place on Thursday, 24 September, from 8:00 to 10:00 p.m. at the Museum of the Second World War in Gdańsk (1 W. Bartoszewskiego Square). The banquet will be held in two areas: the Museum foyer on Level -2 and Vidokova Restaurant, located on the fourth floor of the building.

Friday, 25 September

On Friday, the conference sessions will begin at 9:00 a.m. The semi-plenary sessions will take place from 11:00 a.m. to 12:30 p.m., while the conference summary and official closing are scheduled for 4:45–5:30 p.m.
