We encourage you to take part in the Interdisciplinary Symposium, which will take place on October 13-14 at the Welcome Centre of the University of Gdańsk (University of Gdańsk Library, ul. Wita Stwosza 53)
Framed by the Baltic coast and the landscapes of Pomerania, this symposium explores the symbolic, material, and political significance of water in times of ecological precarity and cultural transformation. Bringing together philosophers, sociologists, lawyers, geographers, ecologists, artists, educators, scholars of literature and culture, it offers a space for dialogue across disciplines to reflect on how water shapes and disrupts life, narratives, and social structures.
