Great news to start the week! Yesterday, the Sociology Department Council at the University of Gdańsk passed a resolution conferring the post-doctoral degree on Dr. Elżbieta Czapka and Dr. Mariusz Finkielsztein.
Dr. Elżbieta Czapka has been associated with the Center for Sustainable Development from the very beginning, where she co-created and developed the International Cooperation program. She currently coordinates the “Quality of Life and Health” program, through which she initiates, among other things, workshops to raise awareness about endometriosis—an extremely important yet still too rarely discussed health issue.
On a daily basis, she shares her knowledge as an assistant professor in the Department of Social Sciences, at the Division of Sociology of Sport and Health within the Institute of Sociology at the University of Gdańsk, inspiring new generations of students.
This is a tremendous achievement and a well-deserved honor for years of scholarly work, dedication, and social impact. Heartfelt congratulations!
