Facts and myths about migration, climate anxiety and women’s leadership – these are the topics covered in a series of inspirational lectures that the Center for Sustainable Development at the University of Gdansk (CZRUG) is holding for mBank employees.
mBank conducts a series of educational meetings on the topic of sustainable development aimed at its employees, as part of which it invites experts representing various backgrounds – both practitioners and academics. Specialists cooperating with CZRUG have also joined this initiative and will conduct a series of inspirational lectures.
The first lecture – on gender equality entitled. – “Danger Gender? The Quota Directive on Boards of Directors and ESG Challenges” took place on October 31, 2025. The presentation was led by Dr. Barbara Kijewska, Professor UG, expert of the UG Center for Sustainable Development.
The next meetings are scheduled for November and December. In November, Dr. Rafal Raczynski, coordinator of the CZRUG Migration Observatory, will talk about the challenges and myths of migration. In turn, the December lecture, led by Dr. Agata Rudnik – director of the UG Academic Psychological Support Center – will be about communication, climate anxiety and how to inspire action for sustainable development.
