Dr. Sylwia Mrozowska, prof. UG, Director of the Center for Sustainable Development at the University of Gdańsk, became a member of the Chapter of the European Sustainability Excellence – a prestigious award given to companies and individuals for outstanding achievements in the field of sustainable development.
The European Sustainability Excellence Award recognizes leaders who implement innovative and effective solutions to achieve the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs). Its aim is to promote best practices, motivate action and foster cooperation between organizations.
The Award Chapter is co-created by recognized experts and representatives of institutions involved in the development of sustainable initiatives: The Center for Sustainable Development at the University of Gdansk, represented by Director Sylwia Mrozowska, PhD, DSc, Prof. UG, the Institute for Sustainable Development and the Environment, represented by President Agnieszka Oleksyn- Wajda, the “We are Close” Foundation, represented by Chairman of the Board Mr. Stanislaw Toborek, and the European Sustainable Investment Foundation, represented by Development Chairman Maciej Kulawik. The Chairman of the Chapter is Mr. Senator Adam Szejnfeld.
