The Center for Sustainable Development hosted Claudia Colonnello and Daniele Mezzana, experts from Knowledge and Innovation – K&I, the partner responsible for monitoring and evaluating activities in the MINDtheGEPs project. The experts’ visit to the University of Gdańsk took place on April 8, 2025, as part of the MINDtheGEPs project (Modifying Institutions by Developing Gender Equality Plans, Horizon 2020 program) led by Prof. Ewa Łojkowska.
Knowledge and Innovation is an Italian non-profit organization based in Rome, whose activities focus on social research, in particular on the transformations of contemporary societies. The organization, founded by a group of sociologists and social scientists, carries out research, training, and consulting projects in Europe and around the world. The MINDtheGEPs project, funded under the Horizon 2020 program, focuses on promoting gender equality in research institutions through the development and implementation of a Gender Equality Plan. Ten institutions from seven European Union countries are participating in the initiative, including the University of Gdańsk and the Jagiellonian University. During the meeting, the Center for Sustainable Development was represented by Monika Adamczuk, project manager, who spoke about the mission and programs of CZRUG, current activities, and key initiatives, including with particular emphasis on activities implemented to achieve SDG 5 – Gender Equality. MINDtheGEPs was represented by Marta Dziedzic and Izabela Raszczyk, members of the team implementing the project at the University of Gdańsk.
