Academic Civic Budget

Akademicki Budżet Obywatelski UG

Academic Civic Budget of the University of Gdansk (“ABO UG”) is a project in which students, PhD students and employees of the University of Gdańsk will be able to submit their ideas for the development of the University from the 1nd of April 2025. The competition is open to infrastructure projects – both investment and renovation projects, as well as projects involving the purchase of materials, equipment and facilities.

Excluded from the list of projects submitted to the ABO UG are projects whose main purpose is the organization of events, for example cultural, sports or social events, as well as so-called “green projects,” which can be submitted to the Green University competition, which takes place simultaneously.

Projects can be submitted electronically through the student portal, or online at www.abo.ug.edu.pl

For non-Polish speakers interested in submitting a project in the Academic Civic Budget, we will explain the rules of participation and provide assistance in completing the project application.

For the 2025 edition, a pool of funds of PLN 200,000 has been allocated, divided equally into PLN 100,000 for projects submitted by students and PhD students, and PLN 100,000 for those submitted by employees.

Regulations and the most important information about the competition are available at abo.ug.edu.pl.
