The main theme of the Baltic Nuclear Energy Forum 2026 will be the importance of nuclear energy in building secure, stable and resilient societies. A meeting of experts, policy makers and industry representatives is ahead, who will discuss how modern nuclear technologies, responsible financing models and international cooperation can strengthen the foundations of the European energy system. The event will take place on March 19-20 at the European Solidarity Center in Gdansk.
According to the organizers, this year’s edition will discuss topics such as nuclear power development strategies in Europe, the development of large and small reactors in the context of the energy transition, national value and competence chains, and innovations shaping the future of the sector, among others.
“The experience of the two editions of BNEF has shown that the greatest value of the conference is the combination of substantive knowledge with the opportunity for direct exchange of experience. That’s why during the Forum we focus not only on inspiring debates, thematic sessions, workshops and study visits, but also on networking and relationship building among participants. In the third edition of the Forum, we continue the idea of creating a variety of meeting formats and spaces conducive to dialogue, which enable even more effective networking between experts, investors and decision-makers from Poland and abroad. As in previous years, there will be no shortage of leading representatives of the nuclear industry from home and abroad, who will share practical experiences, inspiring examples and a vision of the sector’s development in the coming years” – informs the organizers.
