On the weekend of 2–3 August 2025, the next edition of the Equality Festival – Equality Stop took place at Heweliusza Square in Gdańsk. The event was organised as part of St. Dominic’s Fair.
The programme included discussion panels on human rights, accessibility and equality in practice, dance and martial arts performances, graffiti workshops, DJ sets, a silent disco and a concert. Social, youth and educational organisations presented their activities in a special Presentation Zone.
The event was co-organised by the Centre for Sustainable Development at the University of Gdańsk. Guests had the opportunity to talk to Dr Barbara Kijewska, professor at the University of Gdańsk and coordinator of the Centre for Sustainable Development’s internship programme.
