During a visit to the headquarters of the Centre for Sustainable Development at the UG Faculty of Social Sciences, the high school students learnt about the relevance of the Sustainable Development Goals in practice and became acquainted with the educational offer of the University of Gdansk. The workshop culminated with a tour of the campus.
The meeting was attended by 12 students from the 10th Lech Bądkowski Bilingual High School in Gdańsk. The young people were welcomed by Barbara Kijewska, PhD, Vice-Dean for Student Affairs at the Faculty of Social Sciences and coordinator of the CZRUG Internship Programme, who explained to the secondary school students the importance of the Sustainable Development Goals.
The Centre for Sustainable Development was supported in the organisation of the meeting by diploma students Zuzanna Neubauer and Miłosz Andraka, who prepared a knowledge quiz for the young people and a tour of the campus and the Museum of Inclusion in Amber at the University of Gdańsk.
