Krzysztof Szczepaniak, PhD has become the new director of the Centre for Sustainable Development at the University of Gdansk. He previously served as deputy director of the unit.
We asked Krzysztof Szczepaniak, PhD about his vision for the development of the Centre and his plans for the coming months:

Research and teaching activities related to sustainable development have been carried out at our university for many years. There are also development projects aimed at caring for the state of the environment and sustainable social and economic development. We want the Centre to be a place where knowledge about the university’s achievements in this area is gathered. On this basis, we create an educational, research and service offer that is useful inside the university, as well as in our region – for local governments, businesses, schools and communities.
