The time of the COVID-19 pandemic, the war just across the Polish-Ukrainian border and the spectre of a global crisis are the conditions in which today’s youth is growing up. The discussion “Good education in age of crisis” was an opportunity for students of Gdansk schools and UG students to exchange their experiences and reflect on the fourth goal of Agenda 2030: Quality education.
The discussion was moderated by Martyna Wielewska-Baka. The event was attended by experts:
- Małgorzata Fijas, teacher from XIX High School in Gdańsk, leader of Creative Pedagogy,
- Adam Jagiełło-Rusiłowski from the Faculty of Social Sciences, social innovator and academic didactics researcher,
- Maciej Michalski from the Faculty of Philology, author of the book “Polish Studies at the End of the World. Literary education in the face of contemporary challenges” (Gdańsk 2022).
The debate was organized by the Centre for Sustainable Development of the University of Gdańsk as part of Culturally about Sustainable Development Programme, coordinated by Irena Chawrilska, PhD.
