PCHET – Polish Hydrogen Technology Conference is a two-day event (15-16.10.2025) held at the Pomeranian Science and Technology Park in Gdynia. It is aimed at experts, practitioners and representatives of institutions in the energy sector.
PCHET’s topics revolve around the future of Polish and European energy: hydrogen, decarbonization of the industry, regional energy transition, offshore wind energy, green transport and district heating, as well as innovations, investments and ways to finance them, and regulations in this area.
The panel discussion titled. “Power System 2030+: nuclear, wind and hydrogen – the new energy architecture of the Region” was moderated by dr hab. Sylwia Mrozowska, Prof. UG, Director of the Center for Sustainable Development.
Pomerania is becoming a key field of Poland’s energy transition – it is here, along the coast, that strategic investments in offshore wind energy, the development of gas and hydrogen infrastructure, as well as the location of Poland’s first nuclear power plant intersect. The panel will bring together representatives of major investors, infrastructure operators, administration and science to answer the questions: Will Pomerania become an energy hub for Poland and Central Europe? How to integrate different sources of power – from atom to wind and hydrogen? Where do the bottlenecks lie: transmission networks, ports, thermal power plants? What challenges await residents, local governments and decision-makers? This is a debate about real projects, multibillion-dollar expenditures and competing interests – but also about development opportunities for the entire region. – description of the panel (VIII) from the PCHET website.
The event is organized by the Pomeranian Regional Chamber of Commerce, Coordinator of the Hydrogen Technology Cluster.
