The Retail Relooped Project has announced the RELOOPED Packaging Challenge, an open competition aimed at students, innovators, SMEs, researchers and anyone interested in the circular economy. The goal is to find innovative and scalable solutions to reduce the use of single-use packaging in commerce.
The organizers are looking for ideas for coffee cup return systems, refill and zero-waste solutions in commerce, and new concepts for circular packaging. Submitted projects will be evaluated by a panel of experts, and selected teams will be given the opportunity to present at an international conference in Malmö on May 21, 2026.
How to participate in the competition:
- Registration – fill out the registration form and submit your project idea.
- Submission of a proposal – after registration, participants will receive a form in which details of the project must be presented.
- Expert evaluation – submissions will be reviewed by a panel of experts.
- Idea development – selected teams will have the opportunity to refine their ideas through consultations and feedback.
The deadline for registration of applications is March 20.
