On December 6, 2021 the Institute of Central Europe hosted a webinar about sustainable development in the Baltic Sea Region. The multidimensional concept was approached from different research perspectives and explained in terms of maritime economy, sustainable design and lifestyle, environmental pollution as well as many challenges facing the region.
Marta Skorek, a member of the Center for Sustainable Development at the University of Gdańsk, introduced a social-ecological approach to the governance of the Baltic Sea space.
