Sylwia Mrozowska is a political scientist and an academic tutor as well as a professor at the University of Gdańsk and the Director of the Center for Sustainable Development at the University of Gdańsk.

She serves as the editor-in-chief at the Research Institute for European Policy Publishing House as well as reviews articles for many scientific journals.

Sylwia is a member of the Scientific Council at the Institute of Social and Economic Research, Team Europe Poland, and PLATENSO as well as of the following working groups: social education, staff training and development at the Ministry of Climate and Environment.

Sylwia has managed, coordinated and developed scientific research and development projects, including the Ministry of Science and Higher Education, the National Centre for Research and Development, Horizon 2020, Interreg South Baltic, the Jean Monnet Programme, the European Social Fund – Human Capital Operational Programme, the Europe for Citizens Programme, the Youth in Action Programme, Rozwój Polskich Uczelni (the Development of Polish Universities), the Scholarship and Training Fund, and Visegrad Grants.

Not only does she provide expert advice to the Polish Ecological Club but she also serves as an expert evaluating projects within the following programs: Horizon 2020, the Polish National Agency for Academic Exchange (NAWA), the Science Fund of the Republic of Serbia, and Regional Operational Programmes.

Sylwia is also a scholarship holder of the Konrad Adenauer Foundation as well as of the Polish National Agency for Academic Exchange (NAWA).
