Political scientist, assistant professor at the Department of International Relations of the Institute of Political Science of the University of Gdańsk, chief research specialist at the Emigration Museum in Gdynia, member of the Committee on Migration Research of the Polish Academy of Sciences and the Pomeranian Council for Regional Migration Policy; PhD in social sciences in the field of political science with a specialisation in international relations, graduate of political science at the University of Gdańsk, the European School at the Faculty of Management and Economics of the Gdańsk University of Technology and personnel management at the Warsaw School of Social Sciences and Humanities. His academic interests include migration and diaspora issues. He is the author of several dozen works in this field, published both nationally and internationally. Editor-in-chief in the journal Polish Migration Review / The Polish Migration Review and editor in the journal European Journal of Transformation Studies.
