Elżbieta Czapka holds a PhD in sociology and works as an assistant professor at the Institute of Sociology at the University of Gdańsk. Elżbieta was a member of the Management Committee at: COST Action ISO 603 “HOME” (Health and Social Care of Migrants and Ethnic Minorities in Europe 2007–2011), COST Europe, COST Action IS1103 “ADAPT” (2011–2016).
She is also a member of the European Sociological Association, the Nordic Migration Network, Nordisk Demens Nettverk, and the European Network on Intercultural Elderly Care (in the capacity of the board chair).
