How to seize the opportunity associated with the circular economy in science, technology and industrial parks was the topic of a workshop held on 21 May 2024 at the Pomeranian Science and Technology Park in Gdynia.
The meeting was realised as part of the CIR-CO-WAY project dedicated to Polish-Norwegian cooperation in the area of green transformation and building the potential of Polish parks in the area of closed-loop economy. The event was organised by the Centre for Sustainable Development of the University of Gdansk, the Pomerania Development Agency SA and Skogmo Industripark from Norway.
The workshop was attended by representatives of science and technology parks, project partners and experts in the field of circular economy. The meeting included a presentation of, among other things, the results of a study on the readiness of Polish science and technology parks to implement solutions based on circular economy principles and the opinions of representatives of Norwegian companies gathered in Skogmo Industripark on closed-loop economy.
A key part of the workshop was a discussion aimed at capitalising on the results of the project, including, above all, proposals for future project cooperation of the parties involved.
