On 19 May 2021, the University of Gdańsk and Hevelianum concluded an agreement on cooperation in the field of environmental education, environmental protection and promotion of 17 Sustainable Development Goals of the 2030 Agenda among pupils, students and residents of the Pomeranian region.

The agreement was signed by the Rector, prof. Piotr Stepnowski and the director of Hevelianum Paweł Golak in the presence of the Director of the Centre for Sustainable Development, Sylwia Mrozowska, PhD, DSc, Prof of the UG, and Anna Morawska, Hevelianum Deputy Programme Director.

Under the agreement, the Centre for Sustainable Development and Hevelianum are going to carry out an educational programme in the Spa House in Brzeźno. The programme concept of the Spa House is guided by 17 sustainable development goals of the 2030 Agenda. A programme of universal education and conditions for civic activity are created around these challenges.

Interns of the Internship Programme of the Centre for Sustainable Development and students who are active in research clubs of the University of Gdańsk have been invited to cooperate in common projects.
