The event’s guest speaker was  Dawid Weisbrodt, PhD, coordinator of the Education for Sustainable Development program of the UG Center for Sustainable Development, who addressed the highly topical and relevant topic of the global environmental crisis. In the conversation, moderated by Magdalena Jaszcza of the UG Museum, participants had the opportunity to explore the current state of the environment and potential scenarios for its future.

The discussion focused on issues such as climate disinformation and the importance of environmental education, especially among the younger generation. There was no shortage of space for questions and discussion, which engaged most of the guests in the room.

“What about science?” is a series that aims to popularize scientific knowledge and show its practical relevance in the context of modern challenges. We would like to thank all the participants for their attendance and invite them to future meetings!
