Maksymalna kwota przyznanego grantu wynosi łącznie 3000 euro.
The grant is intended to support young scholars in their research on sustainable development. For an applicant to be eligible to receive the grant, they need to have finished their PhD in the past 5 years.
The applications can be made for the funding of new research projects (in whole or in part), or as a financial contribution to ongoing ones. The grant is intended to promote internationalisation, which means that the participant must visit a university in another country in the Baltic Sea Region.
The grant is meant to cover travel and accommodation, which will be handled by the BUP Coordinating Secretariat in Uppsala. Applicants from all disciplines are welcome to apply. The proposed research project needs to be directly connected to the field of sustainable development (environmental, social and economic) and the drainage area of the Baltic Sea.
The application has to contain a description of the project, an invitation letter from the hosting university, as well as a CV, a maximum of two pages, of the applicant. The time period spent at the hosting university is a minimum of one month.
To get an insight into what the Mobility Grant can offer you, read the reports from previous winners on the BUP website.
The last application day is 30 April 2026. The suggested project has to be carried out between September 2026 and February 2027.
The BUP Coordinating Secretariat will get back to the applicants with a decision at the beginning of June.
